Meet Kyle

Kyle is committed to being a strong, effective voice for Dufferin-Caledon. He’s done this by demanding action by the Liberal government on many issues important in our communities, including rural infrastructure, protecting our environment, standing up for our freedom of speech, and advocating for affordable housing, just to name a few.

Working hard to respond to the needs of our community is Kyle’s top priority, whether it’s supporting our local Legions when they were severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic; meeting with members of Dufferin-Caledon’s farming and small business sectors and voicing their concerns in Ottawa; to supporting community groups. Kyle’s also committed to achieving an inclusive, diverse, and welcoming community for everyone, being a proud founding member of the 2021 Dufferin-Caledon Multicultural Award Committee.

On Parliament Hill, Kyle is a tireless advocate for those who bravely served our country, holding this Liberal government to account for their failures on the Veterans Affairs file through his activity on the Veterans Affairs committee. Additionally, Kyle is a member of the Immigration committee where he and his Conservative colleagues fought for expedited immigration of those in Hong Kong being persecuted by the Communist regime.

Prior to being elected the Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dufferin-Caledon, Kyle earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Western Ontario and worked as a civil litigation lawyer in Brampton. He’s also a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario and has been certified by the University of Windsor Law School.

Kyle represented the federal riding of Brampton West from 2011 to 2015, where he dedicated himself to strengthening democratic institutions and protecting freedom of speech on behalf of all Canadians. He was instrumental in ensuring the passage of the Reform Act, a critical piece of legislation that enhances the independence of Members of Parliament and better ensuring strong, local representation in Ottawa.

Kyle is an incredibly proud father of two children, Aidan and Maya.

Kyle remains dedicated to serving his community and being a strong, committed voice for his constituents in the 44th Parliament.

"I represent you. As your representative in Ottawa, I make sure to vote the way you want me to vote."
